Abstract

This study looked at the connection between students' academic success and interest to study social science. The goal was to ascertain whether pupils who are more motivated often perform better academically. A sample of students was chosen using suitable sampling techniques as part of a quantitative correlational research design. A systematic questionnaire was used to gather data on study motivation, and the results of the Social Science exam were used to gauge students' academic success. Correlation analysis and descriptive statistics were used to examine the gathered data. Students who are more driven to study typically do better in social science, according to the results, which showed a strong and substantial association between academic accomplishment and study motivation. According to the study's findings, raising pupils' motivation levels can help them learn more effectively. Therefore, to increase kids' academic success in social science, educators, parents, and school officials should put strategies into place that promote motivation and active learning.
