Abstract

With the changing times, every segment and group of society is transforming itself. Along with the sources of material life and happiness, the youth living in cities are also changing their habits and behavior. This change is having a direct impact on society, but negative effects are also visible. Urban youth are now replacing the commonly used drugs with new drugs that have become fashionable. "The pervasive preoccupation, confusion, snatching, fraud, and chaos have poisoned life, causing humanity to become so lost in the glare of material prosperity that, in its pursuit of happiness, it has become alienated from its sources and lost its strength and spontaneity. Today, an atmosphere of instability, peace, and restlessness pervades society, and everyone is stressed." These changes have brought happiness and joy to the youth, but their plight has plunged society into a grave crisis. In this study, we have conducted an individual study of 10 individuals on the basis of which this qualitative research work has been completed.
